Eastwood is situated 8.5 miles from Nottingham,
and 11 miles from Derby. Access is from the A610 Nottingham to
Ripley road, which by-passes the town to the south, or from the
A608 Derby to Mansfield road. Eastwood is 3.5 miles from the M1
motorway (exit 26, A610, from the south, and exit 27, A608, from
Car parks in the vicinity of the library and the
birthplace museum are signposted from Nottingham Road.
There is also a large car park to the rear of the
Sun Inn public house, near to the Safeway supermarket. Parking
is also available at Durban House Heritage Centre on Mansfield
