| This is a site dedicated to my Warhammer 40,000 Imperial Guard army, the 812th Valaran Guard.
For the most part this site will be an "in-character" site which will cover such background elements as the regiment's history, profiles of key
personnel within the regiment, and some creative works based around the early days of the regiment, such as its founding. |

Not only will the background of the regiment be covered on this site but I also intend to publish summarised
battle reports where I can of how the army fares in the various battles I participate in at my local Games Workshop store's Veterans Night. |
| What inspired me to make a site like this I hear you ask? Well, I've enjoyed creative writing and role playing for several years now,
having taken part in play-by-email RPG's as well as IRC RPG's for some time. I'm also a very big fan of the rich back story to the Warhammer 40,000 universe
that has been provided over the nearly 20 years that the game has been in production for, and in particular I have enjoyed reading such titles as the Gaunt's
Ghosts books by Dan Abnett. Hopefully I will be able to create characters that prove to be as endearing to people as some of the characters in that series are.
