18. Watford - England - The Platts

This is 'The Platts', named after the ancestral home of the Cox family in Worchestershire, who lived in it for centuries. Due to it's location at the top of the High Street (position 14 in green on the map), it was converted once in 1830 and eventually into shops (shown above) in the 1950s. It can still be seen like this, near the pond today.
