7. Watford Junction in the late 1930s
This is Watford Junction Station as is was in the late 1930s.
At the time, a fare of 21 shillings and sixpence was advertised
for a trip to Dublin.
The building was like this until the mid 80s
when it was completely rebuilt, to include an office block.
It is located at position 13 in green on the map.
