6. The High Street in 1932

This Watford High Street as is was in the 1932, looking up from Marks and Spencer (on the right), next door but one to Boots on the corner of Queens Road.

Marks and Spencer moved up the street (to the other side of Queens Road) in 1936.

The Dome on the right, was going to be incorporated into the main entrance to the Harlequin Centre when it was built in the early 90s, but unfortunately the building burned down, so a new dome had to be constructed.
