12. Farthing Lane

This is Farthing Lane, Court number 18, that used to be off the lower High Street by Watford Field Road. The wall on the left was part of a small school.

It is 17th century housing and was typical of the buildings in Watford at the time. This photo was taken in about 1919. The buildings and Farthing Lane no longer exist.
