THE NEIGHBOROHOOD

We live in a residential road, 5 mins walk to a supermarket, hairdressers. Nearest town Gorleston is a 20min walk. Gt Yarmouth is 2 miles away. All can be reached by bus stop near our house if needed. We are also about 2 miles away from the excellent beach in Gorleston. The Norfolk Broads are very near, and the main city in Norfolk, Norwich is only 23 miles away. The Gorleston Golf club is about 3 miles away. Other distances from ours;

• London 120 miles, but best reached by train from Gt Yarmouth or Norwich. Rail takes 1hour 40 mins from Norwich
• Cambridge 80 miles, again best by train from Gt Yarmouth or Norwich ( from Norwich 70mins)
• Ipswich 50 miles, train from Gt Yarmouth or Norwich (from Norwich 60 mins)
• Lowestoft 9 miles.
• Sandringham 70 miles
• The Midlands are also easily reached by car or train.
• Norwich City 20 miles, and has excellent park and ride scheme
• Norwich Airport 20 miles - connections worldwide via Amsterdam

OTHER INFORMATION

Our daughter lives only 2 miles away and would be there if any problem's arise, or if any advice or help is required. She would also be only too happy to show you where everything is and how everything works.

• Short 1 to 2 week exchange in the UK considered.

THE PEOPLE

We are in our 60's, both retired and love travelling. We have completed 11 exchanges so far and see this as the best way to holiday from now on. Our main interests are Golf, gardening, and travelling as much as possible. I have a great deal of experience of driving in the USA. Used to own car and condo in Florida.
