Port and old town

The Port area is also host to many upmarket bars, shops and restaurants and has an attractive pedestrianised seafront, plus yacht club and harbour.

The rocky beach next to the harbour is a base for watersports such as jetskis and windsailing.

Both port and town are the scene for Fiestas throughout the year - not to be missed! See the local paper or Tourism Xabia for details. The Festival of San Juan on June 24 is the culmination of 2 weeks of celebrations, with the burning of giant effigies and a massive firework display in the town, whilst the Moors and Christians in July provide a spectacle in the port that makes Disney parades look like Mickey Mouse!
