Trip to Isle of Wight just before the paint job.
Tea
& biscuits on top of Culver Down near Sandown.
I
started to remove some parts ready for the trip to the bodyshop.The rubber
steps came off pretty easily revealing only a small amount of rust. You
can see Ted the welder's primer beneath the indicator where he replaced
the valance.
New glass fibre bumper on the back and leaky petrol from old filler cap. I have got a new one now!
Blue test. VW Florida Blue stripe. We got an aerosol made up at an autopaint place in Newport, IOW. This was a bit too dark though. Definitely worth testing.
Last glimpse in the old colour.
Madeleine put those bikes on all by herself!
