At the Eastleigh Bodyshop with Dale and Co. The end result.
Dale wouldn't let us see it until he'd given it a wash!
Jason who did the actual painting.
They didn't know what colour to do the front grill. So I left it with them to paint a matching blue.
It was going to need sandblasting to get all the Hammerite I put on off again!
The Final result on a trip to Cheriton the day after we got him back. Looking resplendent in the sunshine.
Finally put on the new hubcaps that I bought almost a year earlier.
New Spare Wheel cover on the nose needs a bit of adjustment and the new VW badge that Ted the welder was adapting for me. He was adding a couple of security rings that I could put a cable lock through so it doesn't get swiped again!
Newly painted front bumper also looks very smart.
Showing off his curves. Need to adjust the new rear bumper slightly. Dale and Co. put the fillets back in wrong. Very easy to do, they are awkward little bits of metal!
I gave the rubber footsteps a clean up before they went back on as well.
They even blacked up the tyres for me. Bless 'em.
