Gorgonians

I have had this lovely photosynthetic gorgonian since January 1999 and have given away at least seven large frags.

It provides a different texture in the tank and the more noticeable movement which is absent from an SPS set-up. It also provides the favourite home of the blue striped Cardinals who, apart from eating, spend the majority of their time amongst its branches.

A gift from a friend this non-photosynthetic gorgonian seems to prefer subdued light and plenty of current.

As I feed the tank with plenty of small foods, Cyclop-eeze, Golden Pearls and phyto-plankton, I should be able to keep it growing. My friend has had the parent in his tank for two years.
