These forams are common in reef aquaria. The colour comes from an iron salt which is incorporated into the skeleton.

They feed on particulate material which is probably bacterial aggregates which they catch in fine filamentous strands extended from the tips of the angular projections seen in the picture.

An unidentified white foram which again feeds on the particulate material caught in filamentous threads.
