I bought the original shoal in June 2002 but they gradually disappeared until there was only one small one left.

Because the Anthias were rather shy I decided to try another shoal as dither fish to make the rest of the fishy inhabitants feel less nervous.

This was highly successful and all the fish have settled down beautifully.

The Chromis are so happy that they now spawn once a week and are courteous enough to deposit their eggs on the front or side glass where I can see them.

Even better they have now laid their eggs on a pump outlet where I can photgraph them.
