Yaesu UK
The main station radio a Yaesu FT-847 Amateur Satellite transceiver, has been provided by Yaesu UK. This allows the Club to communicate directly with the International Space Station as part of the ARISS experiment (Amateur Radio in the International Space Station).
AMSAT UK - the British arm of the amateur satellite movement - has loaned £2,000 worth of specialist equipment, including aerials and specialist digital and receiving equipment, supplied through Waters and Stanton Ltd.

Radio Society of Great Britain has donated £2,000 to meet our capital and
running costs, recognising the value of the NSC project to Amateur Radio.
KENWOOD UK has donated a portable handheld transceiver,
THD-7A, which will be used to demonstrate the Amateur Position Reporting System,
and slow scan television, by satellite.
