I enjoy working with a range of natural materials and these beautiful shell pendants epitomize this. There are the subtle cream/pale pink hues of the mother-of-pearl. The unusual greys and browns of the black-lipped mother-of-pearl are highlighted with green and pink flashes in certain lights. The striking, vibrant multihued Paua shell or Abalone from New Zealand reflect colours from their surroundings and are surprisingly versatile.

In order to enhance the natural variation found in natural products, I select appropriate colours of beading. This and the item below give an indication of the brown and green tones which can be incorporated together with Tiger's Eye detail in the neck. These styles are available in all three shell designs.
These stunning pendants feature not one, but two shells. The disc design has Paua shell on one side with mother-of pearl on the reverse. The tear-drop design features Paua shell on one side with either mother-of-pearl or black lipped mother-of pearl (not shown) on the reverse.
