Gizmondo Homebrew - Emulators & Homebrew Games For The Gizmondo!

More Emulator's Added

Added new pages for the following emulator's that I didn't add in the last update;

Bringing the total number of emulated systems for the Gizmondo to a respectful 25, through a total of 30 different emulators.

  • Plus finally, I'm surprised at how many downloads I'm getting since putting the site back up, so I've put a Top 10 downloads list on the left bar to show which programs you lot are downloading the most.

GizMenu Icons

Since GizMenu has become THE file launcher for Gizmondo, I  thought it only right to support it in the way of new Icons, skins and wallpapers.

Find the link below, and from now on a link on the left hand bar under 'Homebrew Guide' section, enjoy.

Picodrive 1.51b Released!

Notaz has updated the Gizmondo version of Picodrive bringing it upto version 1.51b the very latest version.

The biggest improvement is the emulation of the SVP chip inside the Megadrive version of Virtua Racing meaning this game runs no problem for the first time!

Homebrew Catch-up!

It's been a couple of years since I last updated the site properly, and I've just gotten back into the Gizmondo as it still holds a special place in my gaming heart, so I thought it only right to continue where I left off and list the main emulators and games that have been released in the last 2 years. Here's what I've added so far.

Added new pages for the following emulators;

Bringing the total number of emulated systems for the Gizmondo to a respectful 25.

More updates will follow....

Transport Tycoon Deluxe Released!

This just goes to show that most people can get Pocket PC apps and games running on the Gizmondo, this literally took me 30 minutes to get up and running with a bit of fiddling here and there.

There is still ALOT of work that needs to be done to it but you can have a basic game, I've yet to fully test it out so any bugs/problems reported are appreciated.

UPDATE: Version 0.2 released 24th May / 0.25 released June

Quake rebuild released!

The Reaper has downloaded XChips quake source to try and make it run from a folder so i could have my Dooms, Duke3D and Quake on 1 sd card using firefly's launcher.

Job done, Thanks to my GX.DLL port, this runs at a good playable speed, the only problem i could find was saving the game takes a long time, you will think it has frozen, but it has not, just wait, but the save loads normal.

GizSNES0.3.3 Release

Critical has updated his GizSNES port of PocketSNES, this update has added;

"After a bit of grief merging in the DSP-2 code, it's done.

I haven't tested this new version extensively, but I did test Dungeon Master (now working), DKC and SMW, and they all seemed okay."

Duke Nukem 3D

The Reaper has done it again, though a lot less work was required by himself to get it working on the Gizmondo, it's still was out there to be done and we thank him for doing a good job of mapping the controls as well.
