Xi'an and the Terracotta ArmyVisits on 21 Nov 2000. Out time here was short and is worthy of another visit to see the things we missed this time. Xi'an as a city appeared dull by day but came alive at night, but unfortunately I have no pictures to prove it! These pictures appear a little washed out because it a hazy day caused by mist and air pollution - the sun did not appear until about 11am, and even then as a red ball normally associated with dawn or sunset.
