1982-1984 P.A. for Martin Hannett
It was a fascinating education to see the music business from this perspective in 1982 and to assist this maestro with his work
The name for the Invisiblegirl organisation was inspired by Martins group The Invisible Girls.

Martin had been addressing legal issues with Factory Records, relating to non-payment of royalties and had become a bit depressed.
He did eventually get back into his normal work routine, as a record producer and was planning a portfolio album of his work with various record companies.
Some favourite Hannett produced songs:
Atmosphere   by Joy Division
Boredom   by The Buzzcocks
Moody  by E.S.G.
Wrote For Luck  by The Happy Mondays
Martin had ideas to build a recording studio, at Shrigley Hall in Cheshire (now a hotel), the building was for sale in 1982
Julia worked again with Hannett a couple of years later, on recording sessions after qualifying as a sound engineer.
