I started riding bikes about 30 years back and since throwing my leg over an old Yamaha FS1E I was hooked. Riding has always been a big part of my life and I use the bike most days in preference to the car. Most of my mates are bikers and so is Jules my lovely wife. The first bike I owned was a Puch "peddle and pop" 50cc and from then I went to an old Honda 750/4 I went through most makes, BMW, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki etc, from hardtail choppers to superbikes. Now I ride a Honda Varadero XL1000V which I'm very fond of. I have done a few long trips, my best being from Manchester to Faro in Portugal for the famous Faro Rally (don't eat the octopus!!). I have done some "trail" riding but not the proper gnarly off-road stuff so this is going to be a big personal challenge but as you can see by the pics I relish adventure and pushing my limits. The bikes we are riding will be Honda CRF230's. These bikes have been chosen for their reliability, simplicity and ease of maintenance.
I've built this site so you can see what's going on to bring in the pennies and keep track of the money raised so far. Any amount large or small is very welcome and will make a huge difference to the lives of the people we are helping.

Keep on riding !!
