Cutting a Tunnel Through the Rhododendron at Penmaenuchaf

Guthrie and Mike Euston cut a walkable pathway through the rhododendron at Penmaenuchaf.
In 2004 Guthrie and Mike Euston cut a walkable pathway along the northern and western boundary around Ffridd-y-Myndd; starting from the estate gates and terminating at the walled southern boundary to Tyn-y-Llwyn farmland. A particularly bad 50 metre section (shown above) was completely impassable other than by "panther crawl" and took about a day to clear.
