Walkers Welcome Footpath at Penmaenuchaf
Location: Penmaenuchaf, Penmaenpool, Gwynedd, North Wales.
(3 miles west of Dolgellau - A493 Tywyn road. Grid reference: SH 697 181)

If you are visiting the Penmaenucha Estate, it is recommended that you use the public car park near the George III Hotel in Penmaenpool village. Look out for signs for the toll bridge and RSPB nature reserve on the A493.

Directions From Penmaenpool Village
• In the village of Penmaenpool, turn off the main road up the signposted public footpath (bearing south east)
• After fifty metres turn left onto the single track Penmaenuchaf estate road.
• After 150 or so metres the road forks. At the fork bear right up the stone track.
• Continue uphill for about another hundred metres. At this point on the left hand side there is a footbridge over the stream leading you onto the circular Walkers Welcome route.

Penmaenuchaf footpath near Woodlawn & reservoir.
The route, which is well marked, is about a mile long and takes walkers past the reservoir and the Picnic Spot and Miller Memorial if completed.

Please obvserve the Countryside Code when using the path. The Walkers Welcome footpath, except where it coincides with the public footpath, is a permissive access only.
