Reservoir Outlet at Penmaenuchaf During a Drought in 2006

Reservoir water outlet pier at Penmaenuchaf fully exposed during a drought in 2006.
The pier foundation comprises of engineering brickwork. The inlet is now heavily silted up. When the photo was taken the silt went down to a depth of 90 centimeters – well and truly clogged up!
