I did a long run to the M25 and back soon after getting the Pan, but that was mainly a shopping trip
(bought a new one-piece suit) for familiarisation, and a run to Norfolk for a family funeral in early May,
but recent news from the doctor prompts me to get touring in earnest on this magnificent tourer,
because I probably won't feel much like it for most of this year.
So here's a run to Cheddar Gorge and the Mendips, taking advantage of a fine Saturday in this
wonderful early summer we are having.
(I even pressed my IAM puck into service for the first time; look closely under the side-stand!
The bike sticker and blazer badge were just too flambouyant.)
The roads were not as empty as this picture suggests; they were thick with old men on large motorcycles!
