South Cambs Green Party election results May 2006:
Simon Saggers - Bassingbourn 319 (23%) beating Libdems for second place. Jackie Garfit - Sawston 278 (16%). Mark Claessen - Histon 191 (8%). Richard Riley - Girton 178 (8%). Sally-Ann Nichols - Melbourn 126 (6.6%). Pauline Radley - Meldreth (5.6%).

Imaginative incentives for the Amazon Rain Forests. Carbon credits could be used to encourage the Amazons to reduce deforestation for logging and/or soya & cattle farming. Economic Incentives to preserve Rain Forests - and to manage 'farmed' timber as in Canada, Scandinavia and New Zealand.
