We have no agenda regarding what "style" or "genre" we prefer. Everything from blues to indie to funk to rock'n'roll to r'n'b is welcome AS LONG AS IT'S GOOD - we only book good musicians who make real music. This philosophy means

1) We have a regular following of loyal punters who, like most people, have fairly broad taste, but don't want to listen to rubbish

2) We attract musicians of all styles from all over the UK, so we have a huge pool of musicians to draw from, and can choose the ones who we feel are the real deal

Don't you just want to escape the busy shops, kamikaze taxis and bus-fumes? Come chill-out to the 'koostic sounds, and get inspired by the music/beer. We at The Acoustic Revolution also run a fantastic OPEN MIC NIGHT It is held at Doctor Wu's every Tuesday night starting at 8.30pm. To play just turn up - you don't need to book in advance - but get there early cos we get zillions of people wanting to play and it's first come first served. It finishes at about midnight, and has been frequented in the past by: Brendan Croker (Notting Hillbillies), Jon Gomm, Dom Wise, Giles Winterton, Johnny Solstice, and lots of other local and national musical heroes. It is organised and hosted by Natasha and Bonnie of the band Gallo. Natasha and Bonnie hold court at the open mic Natasha and Bonnie in rock-mode Come to the Open Mic, and this could be YOU!
