Using PsiGar5 with RealMaps

Firstly this is only available to registered users.

Creating PsiGar Waypoints from RealMaps
Start PsiGar5
Open a waypoint file in ddd.ddddd format, or create a new waypoint file in ddd.ddddd format.
Press Ctrl R to switch control to RealMaps.
If RealMaps is running the Psion will switch to it for you, if not you will stay in PsiGar, with PsiGar ready for input from RealMaps.
Within RealMaps make sure the option "Populate Psigar5" is set to "Yes" under menu, Options, Cursor Step, Populate PsiGar5.
Within RealMaps position the cursor at the desired point and press "Enter" this will switch to Psigar with the latitude and longitude already entered in the dialog box.
Complete the dialog box and choose to either stay with PsiGar or return to RealMaps.
If RealMaps is in GPS Moving Map mode and the NMEA Word option is set to * you can also make Waypoints using the GPS position by pressing "Enter".
When finished entering waypoints press "Esc" within PsiGar to return to the normal Wayedit display.
When both programs are running there are entries in both Special menu's to allow you to move between the programs without going to the system screen.
RealMaps Overlays
Under PsiGar's Wayedit menu waypoint and track log files can be exported in a format suitable for use as RealMaps overlays.
These Overlay files are displayed in RealMaps using the Add, Overlay (TXT) menu item.

For track Log Overlays I have found setting the line width to 3 or 4 usually make the line clearly visible.
