INPUT — Input a value into an environment variable

Synopsis

INPUT [/?] [text] %%variable

Options

/?
Display command syntax information.

Description

The INPUT command prints text as a prompt, reads a line of input from its standard input, and sets the value of the environment variable variable to be whatever was read.
