DELAY — Delay for a number of seconds

DELAY [/?] [seconds]

Display command syntax information.

Description

The DELAY command does nothing, in a multitasking-friendly manner, for the specified number of seconds, and then exits. If no argument is specified, the default delay is 1 second.

Note: The number of seconds is the guaranteed minimum length of the delay that will result. On a heavily loaded system, the delay may well be much longer than that specified.
