ANSI — Control the recognition of ANSI CSI escape sequences

ANSI [/?] [ON]|[OFF]

Display command syntax information.
ON
ANSI CSI escape sequences will be recognised.
OFF
ANSI CSI escape sequences will not be recognised.

Description

The ANSI command alters whether or not the current console will recognise and handle any ANSI CSI escape sequences that are written to it. Each console has its own state for this setting, independent of all others.

With no arguments, the ANSI command will display the current state of the CSI escape sequence recognition flag.
