The Workhouse Death Registers contain the causes of death. These causes have been included in the following data. Only those aged between birth and twenty one have been noted here but the original registers can be consulted at Coventry Record Office for the causes of death of all those who died at Coventry Workhouse from April 1914.

The causes of death have been reproduced to the best of my ability. Those marked with ? or N/A have been unreadable and rather than guess are marked so. Those causes of death marked * have been removed from this index by me out of respect for those who died and their living relatives.

This data will also be available on The Workhouse Birth Registers. For those children born and dying in the Workhouse, their mothers details at the time of the child's birth have been recorded.
