About Scotland

Scotlands Central Region main towns are Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Stirling, Ediburgh is the capital, Glasgow is the largest.

Perth, Dundee, Oban and Fort William are all in the Southern Highlands.

Aberdeen and Inverness are in the Northern Highlands, Inverness is said to be the Highland capital and Aberdeen is certainly the oil capital.

Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles are all Islands off the Scottish northern coasts and belong to Scotland.

In the Southern Region (Borders) Dumfries is the main town although there are many lovely small towns.

Scotlands history is mainly turbulent and very interesting before the Pics till today with a new Regional Scottish Parliament, there is certainly more to it than we have room for here. So below are many links to Scotland and I am sure you'll find what you want to know in them.
