Precipice WalkEasy, 1½ hours.
Provides amazing views over the Ganllwyd Valley and Mawddach estuary with the river 800 feet below. Start at the car park to the left of the Llanfachreth road of the A498 Dolgellau to Bala road (746 212). Go left on a minor road that leaves the Llanfachreth road near the car park. After a few yards, go left through a gate on a signed path to a cottage. Just before the cottage, go left over a ladder stile, shortly going other another to reach a Y junction. The arms of the Y are the outward and return paths of the walk. Go right following the sheep path anti clockwise around Moel Cynwch, returning beside Llyn Cynwch
