Please note the dates and venues for winter training set out below. The details will be repeated in the September newsletter.
Young athletes training is on Monday evenings at Chesterton Sports Centre. U13 sessions start at 6.00 and U15 sessions at 7.00. Age groups are years 6 and 7 at 6.00 (U13) and years 8 and 9 at 7.00 (U15).
Tuesday training continues at the track from 6.30-8.30. Floodlights will be available from October.
Thursday training continues at the track until (and including) 1st October. From 8th October Thursday training will be from Chesterton Sports Centre. Strength and conditioning sessions will take place in the Sports Hall. Endurance sessions will start from the Sports Centre. These Chesterton sessions are intended for U17 and older athletes.
Saturday training will be available from 10th October from 10.00-12.00 at the track. Training is available only by invitation from coaches. Please ask if you wish to take part in Saturday training.
There are a variety of training groups, primarily focussing upon different disciplines and age-groups but also to ensure that groups do not get too large.
