What they say about us

*Great to meet up at last, and had a great time - just the music for a Sunday
afternoon! If you have any more dates for 2004 let me know. I'll create a
page for your dates on the Wavelength website linked to the news section.

* Van the Band, the recently-formed Morrison tribute act, rocked a Xmas
holiday crowd yesterday - in a pub in Watford, 20 miles NW of central
London.

Splendid gig. Full review on my website, address below.
Happy winter solstice to all VTM fans everywhere.

*We really enjoyed Friday night at The Rayners. Van the Band were fantastic!
And full marks for presentation and showmanship too. Keep in touch, as we would definitely come again if you're playing locally. (Jane, Harrow)

*Thanks to all Van the Band members for a great session at the West Watford Show. See you at The Horns next time (Mary, Watford)

* What a band of accomplished musicians! They not only sound like Van the Man, but also entertain in their own inimitable style. The keyboards/singer has boundless energy and enthusiasm while his vocal antics get increasingly experimental. The brass section accompany and solo with choreographed wit. At times when the lead guitarist sings, he sounds so much like Van Morrison you need to check. The hat and dark glasses complete the picture. And what band would be complete without the bass guitar and drums keeping the rest in order!!! If you like Van the Man you'll like Van the Band. (Maria, St. Albans)

* A great tribute to Mr. Morrison (landlord, The Horns p.h, Watford)

* We visited the Cricklewood Tavern November 17th 2002 with our son and his wife (it was Kristina who a bit out of control yelled for "Brown eyed girl" at least twice) and we truly enjoyed a superb Sunday evening at the pub.

After the show, Mr Lead Singer had the kindness to drop down by our table for a chat, and amongst 800 other subjects we talked about the possibility for Van the Band to squeeze in Stockholm in a summer tour. Van the Band would namely fit like a glove in our favourite Irish music pub "The Dubliners" over here.

Please give us a life sign that we have contact, and we will come further into details.

Thanks again for a lovely Nov 17, and hope to hear from you soon!
Warmest regards from Bo, Kristina, Tobbe and Anna-Mari (Sweden)

* It was good to see you play again last Sunday, even if you didn't play Raglan Road! The band are very good & the sound was very well balanced. (Dave, Leicester)

* Thanks you for a great evening. The band was really hot. Shame we have to wait
until April for another instalment. (Paul, Milton Keynes)

* It's always great to see you and to see you play. What absolutely amazes me is the energy and enthusiasm you guys put in. (Derek, Tring)

* Really enjoyed the band, again. (Chris, Watford)
