At a Special General Meeting of Lincs E.B.A. and the Lincs E.W.B.A. held at Lincoln I.B.C. on Saturday 20th September, 2008, unification of the two Associations was agreed.

Invoices to Clubs will be posted in late December - Dues to be returned by 31st January 2008.

Secretaries are reminded that Bowls England is requesting Club details a month earlier to enable

the publication of the National Handbook in good time for distribution. late March, early April.

The English Indoor Bowling Association and the English Womens Indoor Bowling Association

The English Bowling Association and The English Womens Bowling Association will be playing to the 4th Edition

County Clubs have kindly agreed to sponsor the Middleton Cup & Francis Burton Trophy Matches by offering

Players and Executive are invited to give the Clubs full support in their fund raising efforts on match days.

With unification of the two outdoor National bodies much in mind, a meeting between the Lincs EWBA

and the Lincs E.B.A. met on Wednesday 7th November to discuss the ramifications of this move.

It was a very positive meeting. The Delegates are due to meet again on December 12th 2007.

It is hoped that the changes can be made with as little disruption as possible to the County Associations.

Great progress was made at the meeting on December 12th - Next meeting on 12th April 2008 to finalise the suggested Rules and Constitution with a view to a Special General Meeting of both Associations in early September 2008.

At a meeting held on Thursday , 16th August 2007, the Trustees agreed that no change

was necessary to the Charity Trust Title. The Trust will continue it's independence as the English Bowling Associations Charity Trust.

Allan Bonney has accepted the above position which has been vacant for several years.

Over 230 bowlers, both ladies and men, from 27 counties play bowls to EBA Rules - both indoors and out - by invitation from Bowling Associations or Clubs who are willing to host a Charity Day for us. These matches take place all over the country, but members can choose their most convenient venues.
