The Software

Most of the software I use is RiscOS which means it is compact, easy to use and realiable.
With my 64 Mbyte memory the RiscPC can deal with about 10 applications minimum running at once. Being RiscOS the desktop does not slow down no matter how many applications are running!

Web Design and Browsing
My two main browsers are Oregano from Castle and WebsterXL from RComp/RCI.
Both are good with Oregano a little quicker at rendering and more html fault tolerant. But RComp/RCI give customers FREE upgrades via the web.
For web connection I use RComps DailUp. This is an excellent application which does away with the TCP/IP problems. Just click and you get connected!
For uploading I use FTPc a utility which comes free with WebsterXL. This again is simple to use.
Being on NTLWorld I initially used the PC side and used their CD to register and receive my account details.
For web page design I have tried a few applications but have to the conclusion that hand crafted code is better for the following reasons.

• It produces more compact code which loads quicker.
• It is just as quick to produce and debug.
• It produces code which more likely to work on many Browsers.
