My name is John Green and I am a qualified solicitor who specialises in asbestos related conditions.I have a personal interest as well as a professional interest in asbestos. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor I worked for a number of years as a car / HGV mechanic and was frequently exposed to asbestos from brake linings. I am lucky in that I have not developed any asbestos related condition but I can understand and relate to the fears and anguish some of my clients experience.
I can also relate to the upset such conditions can cause families. In 2000 I lost my father to lung cancer after he had spent many years exposed to asbestos in the building trade.
