The Lowry Centre
The Lowry opened on 28th April 2000. Set in the heart of the redeveloped Salford Quays. It is the home of the worlds largest collection of works by L.S. Lowry. more>>>


 

 

 

 


Bronze Statue
February 2005 saw the unveiling of a bronze statue to honor Lowry. The statue is situated in Mottram less than 100 yards from where Lowry spent the last years of his life. more>>>


 

 

 

 


The Record
In 1978 Brian and Michael released a record in memory of Lowry. The record was entitled Matchstalk Men and Matchstalk Cats and Dogs. more>>>


 

 

 

 


Stamps
Two stamps have been issued as a tribute to LS Lowry. The first ,issued in 1967, depicts Children Coming Out of School. The second was issued in 2000 as part of the Millennium Collection. more>>>
