Ok
firstly you can measure the speed of your goped, then when you get used to using
the equation then you can find the acceleration, the energy your goped can
propel you at. Ø
The first
equation is S= V * t Ø
That
means distance travelled = speed * time taken Ø Or Ø
Speed =
distance travelled / time Ø Or Ø
Time =
distance / time So
the first example, A goped just done a speedway that was 65 metres long and was
completed in 15 seconds. So V
=? (This is what we are going to find out) S
= 65metres t
= 15Seconds V=
S/t V=
65/15 V=
4.3 ms-1 (that is 4.3 metres per second) Ok
so we have just found the speed that, that particular goped can go nearly 4
metres per second!!! Likewise
if you know the weight lets say for talking sake its 20kg and then we find the
acceleration, and then you can find the Unbalanced force on the Goped. V=
4.3 U=
(initial speed) 0 T=
(found before) 15 seconds A=
this is the acceleration Ø
A=v-u/t A=4.30-0/15 A=4.3/15 A= 0.3 ms-2
Ø
Force =
mass * acceleration Force
= 20 * 03 Force
= 5.8 N (Newton’s) Now
that’s all but you can find the energy the Goped is acted by Kinetic
energy = half of m * v squared Ø

0.5m*v2
