This is a cool thing to do especially if you want to show your goped....

Materials:

Steel wool #00,# 2
Drill upwards of 3500 rpm
Polishing head for drill to remove black paint.
Dremel
no. 414,422 or 423 should polish up the flywheel nicely
Polish, available for dremel no. 421
Varnish spray (if you chose)
Fan Cover Polish:

1. Firstly remove your flywheel, this time remove you pull start as well.

2. Then with the steel wool #2 wear down the paint, once thats done, use #00 to remove any scratches etc.

3. Put the metal polishing bit on (shank wire) then just remove all the paint polish it until it is done. Remember only put the amount it says on the tin not anymore or it will take longer to do.

4. Using the dremel put the chosen shank wire brush in it and polish around the screw holes and knocks the flywheel cover has taken. Then put the polish using the polish wheel on the dremel.

5. If you have ridden about and find the flywheel cover looks dirty and don't want to clean it every time then spray some clear coat on it, test on the back to make sure it is clear and not light blue or something. Then hold the can about 2 feet away and spray evenly and lightly across the cover to give a good result. If you don't want to spray it then just polish it after every few rides to keep it nice.
