Passenger Lists 1937 - 1943

This Passenger List was down loaded from the National Archives, Kew. It contains the names of the passengers and their port of  embarkation. My understanding is that this voyage commenced from Malta after repairs following the epic 'Operation Pedestal Convoy'. Captain R MacFarlane, as Master, the route taken, via Suez Canal to Aden, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, Montevideo and then home to Liverpool arriving on the 22nd February 1943.

Also held at the National Archive are some of the Incoming Passenger Lists which I have listed at the bottom of this page and can be downloaded from the National Archive website. The 'Link' to this website is also at the bottom of this page.

Outgoing passenger lists are very difficult to find, that is, if they actually exist. It would be safe to say that the authorities were more interested in who was entering the country than those leaving, much the same applies today.
