organ

Welcome to the Schumacher Organ at St. Mary's R.C. Cathedral, Middlesbrough, England
The organ was built in 1986 by the firm of Schumacher of Eupen in Belgium. Its sound is that of continental organs of the classical Baroque period. It has two manuals and pedals, and 16 stops; 8 on the Great, 5 on the Choir and 3 on the pedals.

The present organist has made some recordings of organ music. The music is freely downloadable. The only request is that a small donation (whatever you can afford) be made to CAFOD, the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development in the UK. Through fundraising CAFOD's mission, confronted by immense poverty and suffering that exists in the world, especially in parts of Africa, is to promote human development and social justice.
A donation can be sent to The Organist, St. Mary's R.C. Cathedral, Cathedral House, Dalby Way, Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough, TS8 01W, UK. Please make a cheque/money order payable to C.A.FO.D.
