2010 Daytime Meetings

These meetings are very informal and relaxed. One of the original ideas of these meetings was for members who do not like driving at night or coming out on winter evenings to allow them to continue to meet fellow members, exchanging ideas, display or talk about their stamps and of course buy, sell or exchange stamps.
We also want to encourage members to do a bit of dealing as this appeals to many members and is the main reason for some members coming to our Monday or Thursday meetings. Those who attend the meetings determine the programme rather than the more formal approach adopted at the evening meetings on Thursdays.
The meetings take place at the Thatcham Town Council Offices, Brownsfield Road, Thatcham, just opposite The Memorial Hall and behind the Health Centre.The meetings start at 2.00pm until 4.30pm, generally on the first Monday in the month, except when there is a Bank Holiday.
