Aside from writing and recording music and voice over for multimedia productions, at Audio Tower we also have experience of making radio features, jingles and adverts. Most recently John Thursfield has worked for BBC Southern Counties on their Festival Show where he was responsible for tweaking user generated content to make it suitable for broadcast. In addition he made many of the features that the station produced for their A to Z of Brighton. This included the S is for Seagull feature which was selected by Tom Robinson as one of his picks for Pick of the Week on Radio 4 on Sunday 27th May 2007. He particuarly commented on the sound design. Judge for yourself and download the POTW item here

Other work has included composing the introduction music for the NHS training package 'Introducing the NHS' and creating an opening sound collage for the Shell training CD-ROM series . In 2003 we were employed to do the location recording in Mexico of the Mexican version of another Shell CD-ROM series for which we also wrote a Mariachi flavoured musical introduction.

We also were involved in the creation of the audio for a number viral video clips for Nice Media

UFM was a jingle produced for a station called surprisingly enough UFM

British Motorcycle Grand Prix was an advert for the cable television channel Eurosport.

Chris Kents Kicks was an advert for local commercial radio.

In addition Audio Tower have composed music for a film on the life of the artist Frieda Carlo. We also composed music for a relaxation tape used by chemotherapy patients in Leicestershire. Other commissions include writing for two hundred school children for a dance performance in the Brighton Festival and providing both recorded and live music for number of dance companies.

We can digitise audio from almost any format that you send us. In many cases we can improve the perceived quality of supplied audio.

In this example we tidied up poorly recorded oral history cassette tapes from the St John Ambulance museum's archive to a consistent standard. Here Elizabeth Smellie remembers her early days as a member of the order.
