After a somewhat longer gap between updates than I would have liked, it's time to unveil the latest design for the site which has been delayed for around four months after I suddenly, and completely unexpectedly, had a brainwave about how I could solve certain layout issues with the US section that have been causing trouble for the last couple of years.

The major changes to the site are that details of novelised episodes no longer need to be accessed via the old popups, the US section now has the covers of the first editions permanently on display, and ALL series (both UK and US) can be directly accessed from the front page of the site. So no more having to access the A-M and N-Z pages. Good news for useability, and hopefully Google will now index all the pages! One other change is that links to books on the US pages which contain details of multiple releases will now go directly to the details of the book in question — no more scrolling up and down to find the relevant information!

I've also taken the opportunity to add a Doctor Who sub-menu onto the front page. I've still no idea when the huge Doctor Who section will finally be finished, but the new site layout was originally created for that section over two years ago...

Unsurprisingly, there's masses of new information, covers and corrections, details of which are below.

Major thanks are in order to Bill Thinnes, Sally Inglis and James McFetridge who have all provided information and/or cover scans for this update.

All being well, October will see the unveiling of a new section on the site which will provide details for a number of tie-in editions. In other words, the pre-existing books which have been re-released with a tie-in cover to cash in on the publicity that a television production can provide. I'm also intending to upload revamped and updated versions of the book check lists on the Downloads page.
