- The final update of the year, and a rather small one at that. Next months should be slightly more substantial and will hopefully see the appearance of v4 of the website.
- News
- New Releases section updated.
- Forthcoming Releases section updated.
- A slightly early November update. The main news is that I've now got an extra 45Mb of webspace to play with :-)
As a result, I've put the Doctor Who book listings back online. I'm still working on the full entries which should now be online in the new year.
- News page updated.
- New Releases section updated.
- Forthcoming Releases section updated.
- Cover scan added for the Portuguese edition of The Andromeda Breakthrough.
- Cover scan added for the original Herbert Jenkins hardback of Journey into Space.
- Cover scan added for the original Corgi edition of Thunderbirds: Sun Probe.
- A huge update this month.
- v3 of the site makes it debut.
v4 will appear in the next few months, and should be 100% standards compliant with the layout entirely controlled by a stylesheet. This is mainly to cut down on the amount of time needed to re-design the site and to reduce file sizes even further.
Netscape 4.x users should be aware that it's support of the CCS2 standards is far from good and you will encounter severe difficulties in trying to use the site. There are a number of high quality browsers (not just Internet Explorer) that do work correctly, even on relatively old computers.
- New Releases section updated.
- Forthcoming Releases section updated.
- Details of DVD and video releases added for all series and new notes and trivia added to many pages.
- Details added for the large print edition of A for Andromeda and the new Prisoner Omnibus.
- Added the correct cover scan for the USA release of The Avengers movie novelisation.
- The Doctor Who section has been deleted again due to lack of webspace :-(
I'm now going back to my original plan of creating a seperate website — details of which should be available here in several months time.
- Cover scans added for the Into the Labyrinth hardback, The Queen's Nose: Harmony's Holiday, the hardbacks of Space: 1999 — Android Planet and Space: 1999 — Rogue Planet and the German edition of Space: 1999 — The Edge of the Infinite.
- Thanks to Stephen Barker I've been able to add back cover blurbs for dozens of books — The Andromeda Breakthrough (Souvenir Press), The Avengers: Deadline (Hodder & Stoughton), The Avengers: Dead Duck (Hodder & Stoughton), The Avengers: The Floating Game (Panther), The Avengers: The Afrit Affair, The Avengers: The Drowned Queen, The Avengers: The Gold Bomb, The Avengers: Moon Express, John Steed — an Authorized Biography, The Saga of Happy Valley, The Avengers (USA Movie novelisation), Captain Scarlet and the Silent Saboteur, Catweazle, The Champions: The Sixth Sense is Death, Chocky's Challenge, The Ghosts of Motley Hall, Into the Labyrinth (both hardbacks), Joe 90 and the Raiders, The Moon Stallion, The Prisoner (Ace Books and NEL), The Prisoner: Who Is Number Two? (NEL), The Prisoner #3: A Day in the Life (Ace Books), The Quatermass Experiment (Penguin), Quatermass and the Pit (Penguin), Quatermass (Hutchinson), Rentaghost Unlimited, The Return of the Psammead, Sapphire and Steel (Virgin), The Secret Service: The Destroyer, The Secret Service: The V.I.P., Stingray, Thunderbirds (Armada Paperbacks), Calling Thunderbirds (Armada Paperbacks), Thunderbirds: Ring of Fire, Time Riders, UFO-1: Flesh Hunters and UFO-2: Sporting Blood.
- The Star Wars radio page has been removed — I've decided to include only UK series in that section.
- The first part of the Doctor Who guide has now been uploaded. At the moment it only contains details of novelisations and script books — the remaining sections will be uploaded over the next couple of months.
Due to lack of webspace it doesn't contain cover scans (although that may change in the future) and there are currently gaps for most of the books where notes and trivia will be added at a later date.
