BROADCASTER
NBC

The last of Gene Roddenberry's 1970s attempts at creating a new series, but like Genesis II, Planet Earth and The Questor Tapes it never made it past a pilot movie.

Unusually for Roddenberry, the story dealt with the supernatural rather than science fiction, as William Sebastian (Robert Culp) and Dr Hamilton (Gig Young) battled against the demon Asmodeus in England.

Despite apparently proving popular with NBC, it fell by the wayside when plans for a revival of Star Trek got underway.
