Eerie Indiana was one of the best kids' shows to emerge from the USA in the 1990s.

Eerie was a small town in which Marshall Teller, along with his friend Simon, battled against the strange and weird events that befell this strange portion of America. Plots ranged from the extraordinary preserving properties of Foreverware, through to the dangers of not putting your watch back by an hour.

The series ran for a criminally-brief nineteen episodes and was first shown in the UK on Channel 4.

A new series, titled Eerie Indiana: The Other Dimension, was produced for the Fox Network in 1998, but this version only managed fifteen episodes.

EERIE INDIANA

BUREAU OF LOST
Down at the Lost & Found department in Eerie, something's missing: the Missing People! A power failure has released them from their cryogenic storage chambers, and now Jesse James, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Amelia Earhart and many more are on the loose — and Marshall and Simon have to help get them back. What's worse, some of the world's greatest criminal minds are getting back together for the crime of the century — only the century they have in mind is over, and they'll be so mad when they find out. If the boys don't think of something fast, these crooks are going to rob a train loaded with gold bullion and escape the Lost & Found — and Eerie — once and for all!

EERIE INDIANA

THE EERIE TRIANGLE
That's quite a handsome statue of Zebediah Eerie in front of the Eerie Town Hall. But how come there's no mention of the town's founder in history books — or anywhere else? And what about those hundred-year-old pictures of people who still live in Eerie today? Marshall and Simon know the truth must be out there somewhere, and they're going to find it. Because the earliest appearance of Eerie they can dig up came right after a bunch of UFO sightings in the Fifties. Could the real founders of Eerie have come from...the skies? And if that startling fact has been covered up...what else don't we know about the strangest place in America?

BRING ME A DREAM
Eerie's Federal Parcel Delivery company calls itself "the delivery service of your dreams" — and they really mean it! When Marshall calls up for a delivery one day, they don't even ask him what he wants, but they do bring him a package the next morning: a pair of special glasses that Marshall dreamed about the night before. Pretty soon, more dream deliveries are showing up around the town: a fancy sports car for Marshall's dad, even a dream boat for Marshall's sister. But not every dream is a good one, and when nightmares start to get delivered as well, it's time for somebody to wake up and smell the coffee — before they become the victims of the bunch of bad guys Marshall has just dreamed into existence!

EERIE INDIANA

SWITCHING CHANNELS
A kid wakes up in Eerie one day and finds a shrunken head in his sweater. This big multicolored toad jumps out of the fridge. And at the breakfast table, the kid's Loopy Letters cereal spells out a warning. Just a normal morning in the universe's strangest town, right? Except for one thing: this kid's name is Mitchell. His next-door neighbor is Stanley. And their dull, drab town is boring. But later on, when they check out a powerful satellite dish in the Cable Stop store, the TV screen fills with static and shows the faces of two other kids. Kids who say they're "Marshall and Simon" and they're from Eerie Indiana — in another dimension. And the weirdness from their world is starting to spill out into Mitchell and Stanley's! With 2,000 channels, could one of them be connecting the two Eeries? And if so, just how weird are things about to get?
