Daily Telegraph

It was the summer of 1961 when John Loengard and girlfriend Kimberly Sayers first came to Washington DC. Young, ambitious and full of hope, their dream was to be part of Kennedy's 'New Frontier' and to help change the world. Even in their darkest nightmares they never imagined that they would eventually lead the battle to save it.

It began innocently enough. A routine fact-finding mission into 'Project Blue Book' the US Air Force division responsible for investigating reported UFO sightings. But then they found out what really happened at Roswell back in 1947 and learned the terrifying truth.

Drawn into the dangerous, shadowy world of the ultra-secret government agency Majestic 12, John and Kimberley find themselves both victims and warriors on the front line of a covert war — a war being waged against an insidious enemy, an alien intelligence threatening all human life on Earth.

Based on the epic science fiction television series, Dark Skies: The Awakening is a thrilling speculative fiction that offers an unnerving alternative to some of recent history's darkest moments.

'A fearsome web of conspiracies and cover-ups...So stylish, so good-looking and at times horrific that there is no resisting...This is something special. Daily Mail
