Spin-off from The Six Million Dollar Man in which Lindsay Wagner played the bionically-enhanced school teacher Jaime Sommers, who carried out various assignments for the Office of Strategic Investigations (OSI).

Three crossover TV movies with The Six Million Dollar Man were later filmed in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

An updated version of the series, with ex-EastEnders actress Michelle Ryan in the lead role, was produced for US television in 2007, although it was cancelled after just eight episodes due to a combination of poor ratings and the US writers strike.
